If you have employee`s that struggle to attend a convetional course due to working hours, or your employee`s have quiet periods at work when they could do a bit of work in a workbook, then maybe distance learning is a suitable method of training. Distance learning can also save you a lot of “down time” at work, by not having to have employee`s out of work for too long. For example a Level 2 Award in Food Safety course may require only 3 hours out of work rather than a full day¹, or a Level 3 Award in Food Safety course may require only 2 days out of work rather than 3 days².  Please contact us using the booking enquiry form, email us or call to discuss your options on +447787434133

We currently offer Level 2 Award in Food Safety & Health and Safety, and Level 3 Award in Food Safety qualifications as part distance learning / part on-site training.

The Level 2 courses consist of: a question & answer workbook which is completed in the employee`s own time  – allow approximately 4 hours to complete¹ (with the help of a text book to refer to and constant support from a tutor, by email and phone), followed by a 2 hour on site revision session to consolidate the training. This is followed by the accredited multiple choice exam.

The Level 3 course consists of: a question & answer workbook which is completed in the employee`s own time – allow approximately 6 hours to complete² ( with the help of a text book to refer to and constant support from a tutor, by email and phone), followed by 2 days of on site training. This is followed by the accredited multiple choice exam.

¹ Level 2 courses have a minimum of 6 hours learning followed by the exam. Opting for the distance learning method for this course replaces 4 hours of the course with the workbook and so is only 2 hours long. The time allocated for completing the workbook should be considered part of the employee`s training and time allocated.

² Level 3 courses have a minimum of 18 hours learning followed by the exam. Opting for the distance learning method for this course replaces a day / 6 hours of the course with the workbook and so is only 2 days / 12 hours long. The time allocated for completing the workbook should be considered part of the employee`s training and time allocated.
