This is a one day accredited food hygiene / food safety course, formally known as “Basic Food Hygiene Certificate”, or “Foundation Food Hygiene Certificate”. This Level 2 qualification covers microbiology, the consequences of poor hygiene, food poisoning, contamination, temperature control, storage, pests, personal hygiene, cleaning, legislation, the design of a food premises, and HACCP.
